Christmas 2.0

About a week and a half before Christmas my parents mailed our gifts to Darren's parents house in California. Three of the four packages showed up two days before Christmas, so we opened those while we were there. Days went by after Christmas and the fourth package was somehow not appearing on their doorstep. We got pretty nervous when the 30th rolled around and it still wasn't there.

We asked Darren's parents to keep an eye out, and it finally showed up on their porch on the 8th of this month! No idea why it was so slow, since it was mailed the same day as the others. But we were grateful it showed up! Darren's parents mailed it to us on the 11th, and we got it here in Idaho last Tuesday.

Darren and I got to have Christmas all over again this week! We got to Skype with everyone in Virginia on Wednesday and had a great time talking and opening our presents. We were definitely spoiled and are so thankful to my parents, and siblings, for their generous gifts. We love you all!!
