Hayden is scheduled for his next doctor's appointment in two weeks, I'll report back then as to how much he weighs and how tall he is. Our best guess, though, is that he's darn close to 20 pounds. He's one hefty boy!
Our little guy is just recently into only 6-9 month clothes, and is still quite snug in size 3 diapers.
New this month: He's a crawler! And a puller-upper! (I know that's not a word, but oh well). He's also got chompers. He's got two tiny teeth on the bottom that came through in the last three-four weeks. It seems like once he figured out crawling, he hasn't stopped figuring out new ways to get around the living room/house.
He is exclusively sleeping in his crib now, and is completely un-swaddled! His naps have taken a step backwards as of lately, but he still takes two a day, even if they are only 45 minutes each. He does go down for the night by 6:30pm now, and doesn't usually wake up until about 6:00am, so we'll take it :)
He is a sleeping through the night guy most nights. He must be going through a growth spurt right now because he's needed to eat the last couple nights. He went 3-4 nights in a row without waking up though, so it can be done!
Hayden has now discovered springy door stops. I honestly had not even noticed that we had them in our house until he found them and started playing with them. He first found the one in his room, and laughed hysterically the first time he played with it. He has since found the two in our entry way, the one in his bathroom, and the one in the kitchen. He'll go back and forth between the ones in our entry way while we eat dinner. It's pretty funny to watch.
Another funny thing he's started doing is shaking his head back and forth when we say "No, No, No." He thinks he's pretty funny and gets a huge smile on his face each time he does it.
Hayden is also pretty vocal when something is going on that he does NOT like. He had another cold recently (as did Darren and I) and would throw quite the fit when we needed to try and suck his nose out. He also will NOT take medicine through a syringe anymore. We've had to resort to hiding it in his food. Whatever works, I guess.
This one is after he lunged off the couch and landed on his head...hence the pacifier...
