Thank You...?

For Christmas we got this wonderful game from my brother!

We got it out a few weeks ago and played and loved every minute of it, until it came time for Darren to make an "Accusation". He did, and quickly found out that he was wrong and got quite upset at me. He said, "If you have the card, you have to show me!" I responded, "I did!!" He was pretty positive that the crime took place in the "Kitchen", but it turns out that we don't have the "Kitchen" card! Somehow it was left out of our game. I was pretty bummed, but knew I could probably just email them and get it taken care of.

I did just that and got this return email:

"Thank you for taking the time to contact Hasbro, Inc. regarding
the Clue Vintage Edition game. We are sorry to learn a card was
missing and appreciate your taking the time to share your
comments with us. Please be assured that your concerns will be
shared with the product team. Regrettably the item in question is
no longer in production and replacement parts are no longer
available. Since your satisfaction is our goal, we wish to send
you, at the address you provided, a different product of equal
       value."

I thought, "okay...I guess they'll just send us a "Kitchen" card from an older/newer version of the game." That would make sense right?!

Well, their definition of a "different product of equal value" just arrived and is this:

Somehow, I don't think this will help us play our game of "Clue"...
